How can you host a Commitment Weekend?
These events require a lot of planning and strong partners. If your department is interested in being a host site partner for a Commitment Weekend in 2017 and can meet the below requirements, please proceed with filling out a Host Application.

A Host must have:
1.  The ability to host a minimum of 70 and up to 200 people in a training facility.

.  The ability to provide the stations and volunteer support for our "H.O.T. for marriage activities" (Including access to equiment like: An Engine / Ladder, Hose lines for flowing water, 8 - 10 sets of gear and SCBAs, Drywall breaching station and Forcible entry simulator)

3.  The ability to market and advertise to departments within your region for event attendance and commit to a minimum 70 participants (30 couples)

4.  Access or are Located in an area with amenities / activities that provide a good atmosphere for a couples weekend away including hotel / lodging options.

5.  A point person project leader / event coordinator and local volunteer team.

We will bring our complete program, end to end, with speakers, activities, energy and a guarantee that couples will leave re-committed to each other and your local community will grow as a fire family as a result.

We will be taking applications, interviewing as needed and confirming locations in late Summer / early Fall 2016.
